- About 6.5 to 7 hours and about 4 km on foot, in English or Chinese, meeting at the West Exit of Sakaihigashi Station. The end point is given as Sakai Station in one place and Sakaihigashi in another, so confirm where you finish.
- Stops: the Shimano Bicycle Museum, lunch on your own near Sakaihigashi, Sakai Denshokan and Sakai Knife Museum CUT, Yamanokuchi shopping street, Aguchi Shrine, Sakai Risho no Mori and the remains of Sen no Rikyu's birthplace.
- Lunch and the optional matcha and sweets at Risho no Mori are not included. Knives, sharpening stones and local products are on sale at the knife museums.
